From Formula 1 to your front door! We had a blast at the Melbourne Grand Prix 2019 activating two pickup and drop off ‘Pit Stops’ for our friends at Uber. While the Uber F1 two-seater raced around the track with celebrities, influencers and competition winners, our ‘Pit Crew’ team moved riders and driver-partners in and out of the precinct seamlessly, while bringing a bit of Uber’s signature magic to the arrival and departure experience. When you’ve got riders asking if your zone is the after party, you know you’re doing something right!
Operationally, Grand Prix 2019 set a precedent for record breakingly low wait times, while trip volume increased by 58% on 2018 metrics.
