Yakusan transformed an urban, industrial space in Alexandria, Sydney into an inspirational Maker’s Workshop to host The Makers by Maker’s Mark event that celebrated the hand-craftsmanship that goes into every bottle of Maker’s Mark.

For two days only, media and lucky consumers winners were guided through bespoke immersive workshop experiences surrounding the four W’s that make Maker’s Mark truly unique: wheat, water, wood and wax. Four ‘makers’ who are experts in their craft, brought to life the essence of the handcrafted bourbon whisky through experiences such as kneading bread, ice sculpting, wax dipping and oak barrel comparisons.

Yakusan partnered with Broadsheet Media to drive awareness of the event and host the consumer competition. In addition Broadsheet produced a full content program including the Sydney event listing that received over 4k+ unique views and reached over 68k people with 2,500+ link clicks on one Facebook post. Display media and ‘How To’ content articles and videos produced by Broadsheet featuring our master craftsmen and their specialist trade helped augment the campaign, running nationally across Facebook, Instagram, eDMS and YouTube.
