Yakusan designed and produced a series of Sharpie “Art Bars” that were rolled out across shopping centres around the country. Teenagers were invited to take a seat at the bar, be inspired by Sharpie commissioned artwork displayed around the station, and let their imagination flow by creating their very own masterpieces on giveaway Sharpie merchandise. Professional Sharpie street artists created bespoke murals that all guests could lend their hand to. Amplified through digital promotions & social competitions, the activation proved to be a huge success with a 25% increase in sales for the BTS period.
The Sharpie “Creation Stations” are back on the road in the back half of 2015, ready to inspire more teens around ANZ to #startsomethingwithsharpie.
