Keepers of the Quaich is an exclusive international society dedicated to the education, celebration and growth of the Scotch Whisky industry. Each year a handful of members are chosen for their contribution to Scotch Whisky around the world, and are taken to Scotland to Blair Castle, where they are inducted into the Keeper’s of the Quaich.

We were delighted to work as part of the Australian committee, lead passionately by Colin Rochester (William Grant & Sons AUS MD) and several key industry stakeholders, to create an inaugural event that would inspire, celebrate and bring together the current and next generation of Keepers, industry leaders and advocates.

The event was made possible through incredible industry collaboration and support from eight of the world’s leading spirits houses: William Grant & Sons, Pernod Ricard, DIAGEO, Beam Suntory, Spirits Platform, Bacardi Martini, Campari & Brown Forman.

The concept was to bring to life ‘A night at Blair Castle’, the traditions and ceremonies of the Keeper’s of the Quaich, combined with a fully immersive contemporary banquet with each Whisky House sharing one of their finest whiskies. Each whisky was expertly food matched, to create an incredible journey of the senses, history and storytelling.

A landmark event for the industry, and a reminder of the richness, diversity and craftsmanship of Scotch Whisky.
